The procedure for using CDF/QT Adhering Emulsion is simplicity itself. Cut a piece of CDF/QT Thick-Film to size. Place it emulsion side up on a build-up board. Position a dry screen that has been degreased over the film, printing side down. On the squeegee side of the screen place a piece of tape over the far and near edges of the film. Pour a bead of CDF/QT Adhering Emulsion across one piece of tape. With a soft squeegee, "print" the CDF/QT Adhering Emulsion through the fabric to the opposite piece of tape. Wait 30 seconds, then make a reverse "print" stroke. Wait a minute before lifing the frame for drying. After the screen is dry, proceed with stencil processing.
CDF/QT Thick-Film is ideal for the production of thick stencils for specialty printing needs, including high density, puff, and lenticular effects for imprinted sportswear; peelable solder masks in the electronics industry; false mosaic and leading effects for glass and ceramic decorating; screen printed gaskets and seals; and many other manufacturing and decorating applications requiring ultra-thick ink deposits with non-aggressive solvent inks and pastes.

This new product promotes the adhesion of CDF/QT and has a specially-formulated, buffered compound that penetrates into the film layer, amplifying the possibilities of molecular cross-linking and making the stencil harder, tougher, and more durable. In addition to longer stencil life, CDF/QT Adhering Emulsion makes printing shoulders stronger, so image edges are more acute and longer lasting. It also improves water resistance.
