Eliminates mesh degreasing

SEFAR® PET1500 accelerates and simplifies stencil-making: the mesh is already degreased. Degreasing remains unnecessary as long as the mesh does not contact fats, oils, perspiration or similar substances during the stretching and coating processes. No degreasing means process cost savings.
SEFAR® PET1500 users benefit from shorter job processing times and lower-cost stencils. Under some circumstances, new screens can be coated right away, skipping the rinsing process. This saves labor costs, chemicals and water. SEFAR® PET1500 makes both ecological and business sense.

Stencil material adheres better

Thanks to the polyester fabric's improved wettability, the water film persists longer and the emulsion distributes itself more evenly over the mesh. This improves process reliability in conjunction with indirect films, capillary films, emulsions or combined applications. Under ideal working conditions, the wetting agent used in capillary film transfer can be eliminated.
Improved adhesion firmly retains screen dots and fine lines, considerably prolonging stencil life. The mesh retains this excellent adhesion characteristic even after multiple use.

High-quality printing results

SEFAR® PET1500 significantly improves printing quality. Improved ink release results in greater ink layer uniformity, for a better result.

The reasons are self-evident: An optimized stencil-making process saves costs (no degreasing). Improved wettability and more uniform emulsion distribution increases stencil life and hence productivity.
